In a Dutch home for the elderly they decided not to resuscitate people above the age of 70 only residents who explicitly request it on special forms will be resuscitated following cardiac arrest.

He had the pleasure of interviewing Anky van Grunsven about similarities between training a horse and managing an organization. Feeling secure as employee is one of them.
Laika Spoetnik presents The Best Study Design… For Dummies (in English) posted at Laika’s MedLibLog.
She writes in English and Dutch so you have no excuse for not reading this excellent post. She clearly explains Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT’s) and the levels of evidence. She uses an example which is easy to follow: Does beta carotene prevent lung cancer.
