Why do the majority of PD patients have their right side affected at the onset of the disease?

Interesting premise if not for the fact “if applied early” has not been defined.

We have another of those nasty neurological disorders like serious mood disorders that lack definitive and quantitative means for diagnosis. No blood tests, X-rays, MRIs etc to definitively diagnosis these illnesses. Instead we rely upon the best efforts of the physician and quite often their misdiagnosis before the symptomology becomes prevalent and self-evident.

Then to Parkinson’s from my viewpoint and experiences is a declining one-way street. Aside from the declining mobility challenges one is often not familiar with the many behavioral issues accompanying the advancing illness.

Warmly,
Herb

That is exciting news. I wonder what the effects might be for treatment of depression in early stages?
