AMEE 2014 and preparing for a conference

This year I will be attending the AMEE conference in Milan, Italy.

The AMEE Conference provides an opportunity for all with an interest in medical and health professions education to meet together to hear about what’s new in the area, to share ideas and to network with colleagues from around the world.

During my career conferences mostly deliver little new information especially taking into account the time needed for the conference.

I try to attend those conferences with the most efficacy in the sense of learning and information. This comes down to mostly specialized conferences on small subject.

Luckily this time I will take a more proactive approach to my conference experience after reading a blog post about 9 Tips to Get the Most Out of Conferences.

Anyone recognizes this problem or going to the conference?
